The holiday season, no matter how you observe it, invites us to make life special. Not complicated. Not perfect. Special.
What I’m learning is the best celebrations aren’t about doing everything. They’re about doing what matters.
This is your permission slip to strip things down to their essence.
To ask yourself:
What actually creates meaning for me?
What traditions feel like obligation rather than joy?
What have I always wanted to try but felt hemmed in by “the way it’s always been done”?
Maybe you skip the ornaments this year and hang dried citrus instead.
Maybe you say no to the party that drains you.
Maybe you finally host the intimate dinner you’ve been imagining.
The magic isn’t in doing it all. It’s in choosing what matters and letting the rest go.
Pay attention to what feels lighter this year. Some of those changes might become your new traditions. Not because you had to pivot, but because you discovered something better.
Quick question though . . .
QUESTION :: What rhymes with HOLIDAYS?
ANSWER :: Champagne!!!

MY 5 FAVORITE
BEAUTY TIPS
ULTIMATE HOLIDAY CHIC
Having well manicured nails, even if you are not traveling somewhere warm this holiday season is just as important. Painting your nails a wonderful shade of red or dark burgundy is the ultimate in holiday chic.
SPARKLE + SHEEN
Can you add a bit of, dare I say, sparkle, ok let’s call it sheen to your makeup? An eyeshadow with a smidge of sparkle – HOURGLASS has a gorgeous one I am loving. Or a cream highlighter like one from WESTMAN ATELIER or a gloss by CHANEL. It will set the mood and help you feel oh so festive.
FESTIVE + UPLIFTING
A softer hairstyle, maybe a soft updo is a preferred option this year over a severe updo. The mood is relaxed yet festive + uplifting. Do you have a gorgeous barrette to clip your hair back?
GLOWY SKIN
How is your foundation coverage? Are you still wearing a light BB cream from the summer? Is it giving you the right amount of coverage? I adore by Terry CC Foundation paired with her Brightening CC Serum. That combination is magic!
BACK TO BASICS
Can we discuss your eyebrows? Have you had a chance to have them professionally shaped recently? Make sure you are keeping up with the stragglers. If you cannot see them then think about investing in a very strong magnifying mirror.
