THOUGHTS ON WEARING COLOR?? Many women I work wit THOUGHTS ON WEARING COLOR??

Many women I work with are hesitant to wear color and prefer the comfort of neutrals. And what I’ve noticed over these last 6 years as a Style Coach is that it’s not color they’re necessarily avoiding. It’s being seen.

When you wear color, you cannot hide. You. Are. Seen.

And if you feel safe in NOT being seen, the last thing you want to do is start wearing bright colors.

But wearing color is such an amazing way to lift the spirit and make you look more vibrant, too.

So, if you want to venture into being a bit more seen, how do you start?

Meet Cloud Dancer—Pantone's 2026 color of the year. It’s is the perfect bridge.

It's a soft, warm white that makes whatever color you pair it with look intentional.

Pair it with one color. Just one - Plum. Blue. Olive. Espresso.

Suddenly, you're not just "wearing color." You're creating a palette.

And palettes feel curated, like you know exactly what you're doing.

I’ve created 4 fabulous SHOPPABLE moodboards for you. Click the SHOPMY link in bio.

NEW SUBSTACK : The Styled Life (🔗 in bio) Hello e NEW SUBSTACK : The Styled Life
(🔗 in bio)

Hello everyone, so I have some news I’d like to share.

For the last few months, I’ve been working on something I’ve wanted to make for a long time - a Substack publication.

Now, before you think, ‘Oh, another newsletter’ and scroll on, let me tell you why you might find this interesting.

Instagram is great for quick bits - style tips, inspiration, all of that. But there’s so much I want to dive into that I can’t say in 90 seconds. About style, about aging, about figuring out who you’re becoming at this stage.

So I created The Styled Life - where I can actually unpack it all. How to align who you are with how you show up. The ongoing work of becoming. All of it.

Posts land every other Wednesday in your inbox. And it’s free.

The video cut off at the end but just click the 🔗 Substack : THE STYLED LIFE link in bio.

THE QUIET SIDE OF LIFE We say that being at our p THE QUIET SIDE OF LIFE

We say that being at our place on Lopez Island is like being in the mental health zone. You can very easily think you're living in another era — no stop lights, everyone waves as you pass by.

Once on the island, there aren't really any distractions unless you call going to the weekly farmer's market a distraction.

Life is simple there. Something I am really coming to appreciate the older I get.
Just back from Paris. Four weeks of exploration. Just back from Paris.

Four weeks of exploration. Four wonderful clients. Miles of walking. Incredible meals that just lingered.

Paris isn’t a trip anymore. It’s becoming part of the rhythm of how we live. There’s a different feeling when you’re not just visiting but settling in, building routines, making a place yours.

Found a beautiful pool for our morning laps. I got my haircut at the salon I’ve been going to for years. We bought furniture, which tells us we’re committed for a while.

One thing I love most is the daily routine - gathering meals from my neighborhood boulangerie, cheese shop, and of course le Marché Raspail. A different rhythm entirely.

With my clients, we explored the flea markets, sought out the small museums most people skip, swooned being in the Grand Palais for Paris Photo, saw a beautiful performance of Giselle at the Palais Garnier, and found hidden boutiques that don’t show up on lists.

I love showing people the kind of Paris that speaks to them, rather than the postcard version.

I keep getting asked if I can help plan trips for people who want more guidance than my Paris Lookbook - a more curated experience. I’m working on something for January. If you’re interested, DM me to get on the waitlist.

If you look in the mirror and something feels off, If you look in the mirror and something feels off, it’s probably one of these common mistakes:

🎯 Wearing the wrong proportions
🎯 Following trends instead of YOUR style
🎯 Poor fit
🎯 Too many accessories (or not enough)
🎯 Ignoring the finishing touches
🎯 Bad posture

These mistakes are quiet. They don’t announce themselves.

But they’re the reason you don’t feel as confident or polished as you want to - even when you’re trying.

Here’s the good news... once you know what to look for, they’re easy to fix.

Getting dressed becomes easier. You feel more confident. More YOU.

Let’s dive into what STYLE really is. Style is AL Let’s dive into what STYLE really is.

Style is ALL in the details.

The little choices you make when you dress (or fyi how you decorate your home, entertain friends, wrap a present, etc) - these are what create your style.

The rings you choose. The scarf you tie. The handbag you carry. The glasses you wear. Even the way you button your jacket.

The sum of the parts.

We could all wear the same blouse and pants every day, but the way we finish it? That’s what makes it distinctly our own style.

It’s important to understand what choices align with who you are and how YOU want to show up.

If you are unsure, then 💬 comment AUDIT below and I’ll send you my STYLE AUDIT and you’ll receive a personalized plan on what to focus on.
