INVIGORATE …
With the arrival of spring, April feels like the beginning of something new. A rebirth. The proverbial light at the end of the tunnel. IT FEELS INVIGORATING.
There’s something magical about seasons of transformation. As nature renews itself, we’re invited to do the same—to shed what no longer serves us and embrace fresh possibilities. This time of year awakens our desire for growth and change.
It’s the perfect moment to reassess what truly matters in your life. What brings you joy? What energizes you? What makes you feel most alive? Allow yourself the space to explore these questions without judgment, embracing the answers that emerge.
MY 5 FAVORITE LIFESTYLE TIPS
CENTER IN PEACE
Moving forward from here, center your attention on the things that give you peace. That includes the people in your life as well. A wise person once told me to surround yourself with people who make you feel whole and lift you up. You’re wasting your life if you’re not.
GO DEEPER
A natural next step beyond the pandemic seems to go deeper with your passions, the things in your life that really interest you. Doesn’t it seem natural to want to become immersed in something that has caught your attention?
BE YOU
I mean that. Let the ‘I shoulds’ and the ‘what if’s’ fly out the window. This is your life. Be the best you you can!!
SIMPLICITY
Take time each day to care for the simple things in your life, like for instance your houseplants. Do they need repotting, pruning, do they get enough or the right light or do they need a good soak? Can you really spend time focusing on what they need to thrive beautifully in your home?
MUSIC
Music plays a big role in my life as well as my entire family’s. I find listening to music incredibly grounding during times of change. Listening to songs I’ve heard a million times as well as new music is a fantastic way to mark the moment. It has always fascinated me how hearing a particular song can transport you back to a moment in time. If you’re looking for some new music, HERE is the AYIS April playlist with music from some of my favorites- REM, MARK KNOPFLER, CHRIS ISAAK, THE AVETT BROTHERS…+
