March is the time of year when spring begins to emerge and we begin to shift our thoughts to wanting/needing everything to be warmer, prettier and quite frankly, easier.
We get excited about bringing FRESH FLOWERS into the house – although if you’ve been hanging out around me you know I think you should have fresh greens and/or flowers in your home year-round. We are giddy about a lighter and more COLORFUL WARDROBE and cannot wait to shed the heavy layers. We may try a more simple MAKEUP ROUTINE with fresher colors, or maybe we even go for a more modern haircut. And we most certainly begin to put our focus on our GARDENS no matter how large or small our patch of land is.
However you want to mark the change between the seasons, it’s a really good idea to take the month of March to plan ahead now so you are ready when that time comes next month (or more if you live near me).As far as BEAUTY for March, I feel like a broken record but I think aging gracefully is ALL about taking care of our skin from the inside – great gut health to topical. I heard recently on an IG Live with Dr Nigma Talib that the ‘NEW YOUNG’ is a woman with fabulous dewy skin. And the ‘NEW OLD’ are women with very botoxed, filler-filled faces. Works for me!
Here are my 5 tips for beauty this month:

MY 5 FAVORITE BEAUTY TIPS
AM LEMON WATER
Begin your day with warm water and lemon. It sets your gut up for proper digestion for the day. (I say this every month on repeat, btw)
Are you eating too much sugar? If so, the inflammation can cause you to have a sagging face and more wrinkles. Read HERE.
WHAT DOES YOUR FACE SAY ABOUT YOU?
Do you have dairy face? Wine face? Sugar face? Gluten face? I am new to Dr Nigma Talib’s world and am FASCINATED by her work. Read more about her philosophy on premature aging and the gut HERE.
